Make Your Own T-Shirt from Upcycled Materials (PART 2)
- Kildevæld Kulturcenter 3C Bellmansgade København, 2100 Denmark (map)
Join a hands-on sewing workshop where you’ll learn how to transform unwanted materials into your own unique top.
Over two sessions, you’ll learn how to create two different tops. You can choose between a beginner-friendly design or a slightly more advanced version, depending on your sewing experience and what you want to challenge yourself with.
The workshop is very hands-on, so you’ll learn by actually sewing and creating your own garment. Along the way, our workshophost Charlene will share practical sewing tips, tricks and techniques to help you become more confident at the sewing machine and improve your skills.
(Charlene works with upcycled materials and has created designs for and collaborated with several well-known actors and creative professionals, bringing real experience from the fashion and creative industry into the workshop.)
The workshop takes place over two sessions:
You are welcome to join both sessions to get the full experience and complete your top(s). If you can only attend one of the sessions, you can still learn a lot and may even have time to finish one of the tops.
No matter your sewing level, you’ll leave with new skills, practical knowledge and a unique piece made from upcycled materials.
